Mark is a recent graduate from Ithaca College’s departments of Journalism and International Politics, looking for enriching communications and administrative opportunities in the non-profit and socially-conscious business sectors. He is a goal-oriented people person with a passion for working in teams on complex projects, with a trained eye for social justice and issues surrounding power and diversity.
Currently, Mark is working as a Campaign Fellow for NJ District 3’s Democratic congressional candidate, Andy Kim. Through a combination of strategic communications and project management, he plays an important supporting role in helping to flip the district this November.
As a writer and media producer by trade, Mark has a strong grasp on oral and written communications, copy editing and proofreading, and news culture, paying special attention to the politicization and agenda-setting of our traditional and mainstream media outlets. It’s more important than ever to be careful and discerning consumers of media in the era of “fake news” and increasing polarization.
